I am happy to announce that the nursing room for mothers of infant children is now available. It features two comfortable chairs, with small end tables, a minisplit for heating and cooling, and a television with a live audiovisual feed of the Mass, so that mothers may continue to participate in Mass if they need to step away. The room is, of course, available at all hours.
Privacy screens have been installed on the main windows and, partially, on the door window. The partial screen on the door window is to obscure any curious eyes of children while still maintaining safe environment standards.
The nursing room is a quiet, private place for mothers to nurse infants, not a cry room for toddlers, and certainly not a place for teenagers to congregate. At present, the code is the same as the restrooms code used at other locations on the property, though that may change if access to the room begins to become a problem.
The new storage closets on the south and east walls have been reserved for inventory for the bookstore and items used for the First Communion and Confirmation receptions.
