- I am working on designing a new website for the parish and hope to have more news regarding that soon.
- The Our Lady of Guadalupe image has been successfully ordered and we are waiting for its arrival.
- I am talking to a contractor on Monday to refinish the pew kneelers in the nave. We are hoping to have that project completed in the coming months.
- On Tuesday, an electrician is coming to figure out replacement options for the hanging lights in the nave. Unfortunately the bulbs and ballasts are twenty years old and no longer in production.
- The parish hall restroom project is sitting at county waiting for permitting.
- When we do begin construction on the parish hall restrooms, we will be bringing a lift into the nave again to: replace broken crenellations on the high altar, replace the hanging lights in the nave, and install brackets and pulleys for new Passiontide veils that the Altar Linen & Flower Society is working on.
Above is a work-in-progress Passiontide veil. We will be adding galloon to the trim. The major statues in the sanctuary will have free-hanging veils placed before them.
